These terms cover your use of the Spellnest game and website (“Spellnest”, the “Service”), operated by Aevest Studio, an independent developer based in Malaysia (“we”, “us”). By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Spellnest is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may play it as much as you like and tell anyone about it. You may not resell it, charge others for access to it, or present it as your own work.
You agree not to interfere with the Service: no attempts to break into it, no automated request floods, no reverse engineering intended to defeat its limits, and no using it in a way that would harm other players’ access.
Spellnest explains money words in plain language and offers short general tips alongside them. This is educational content of a general nature. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, it takes no account of your circumstances, and it must not be relied upon for any decision about your money. For advice about your own situation, speak to a licensed professional.
The scam-spotting rounds describe patterns commonly used by fraudsters, for awareness. They are examples, not an exhaustive list, and recognising them in a game is not a guarantee of recognising them in life.
Your progress is stored by your browser on your device. We do not hold a copy, so we cannot restore one. Clearing site data, switching browsers or devices, uninstalling, or a device fault may end that progress permanently.
Share anonymous results is on when you first play, and you can turn it off in Options at any time. While it is on, the Service sends the small records described in the Privacy Policy: they carry no name and no account, and the token they are filed under changes every day. We may reset, adjust or remove the board, the percentile line or the community goal at any time, including to deal with abuse. Nothing on the board is a prize or has any cash value.
Spellnest, including its puzzles, word lists as arranged here, written definitions and tips, stories, scam rounds, characters, artwork, sounds, music, code and name, belongs to Aevest Studio or is used by us with permission. You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable permission to play it. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.
Some components are third-party works used under their own licences, and those licences continue to apply to them.
We work on Spellnest in our own time. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including levels, features and the board, at any time and without notice. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Aevest Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary losses, nor for lost progress, lost data or lost profits, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service, which is nothing, and the minimum the law requires.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You may stop using the Service at any time by closing it and, if you wish, clearing its data. We may end your permission to use the Service if you break these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction, without depriving you of any protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country you live in.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the current version always lives at this address. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
